WHY THE NAMES ALLEGENTIA AND AAROWYN
Most angels are considered to be female, therefore I represented my main character as female. Aarowyn is Allegentia’s twin. Seraphim complement each other in pairs.
Allegentia:
All-: a prefix meaning ‘other’
Allege: bringing forward evidence, to declare, to affirm, assert, or state a case
Allegiance: loyalty, devotion to duty
Allegory: a presentation of ideas with words and images
Alleviate: to lighten a burden or ease suffering, to make more tolerable
Alliance: a union or bond (careful cradling of a soul within the angelic form for transport)
Allie: as a name traces back to Adelaide with the root meaning noble
Allied: in agreement, connected
Alignment cooperative, in line one with another
Gentle: kind, amiable, honorable with a root meaning of one’s family
Aarowyn:
Aharon: name with a root meaning the light-bringer
Wyn: name with a root meaning joy
Arrow a swift, targeting flying object
Heroine a female hero
